AVG blocks randomly FTP. AVG tech support didn't solve my problems

As of May 4, 2016, I have been forced to disable my AVG virus protection to use CuteFTP. With AVG enabled I get the message "CuteFTP Pro transfer application has stopped working.". When I disable AVG, everything works perfectly. The moment I reactivate AVG, error message appears instantly. Any suggestions?

I am having issues using CuteFTP when AVG Internet Security 2014 is enabled.
I have disabled the AVG firewall but it didn´t fix the problem.
This is the issue: I run CuteFTP, connect to my hosting server and then, most of the times, when I try to open any remote folder I get this error message: "ERROR:>    Can't read from data socket. Socket error = #10054."
I disable AVG Firewall but have the same problem.
Then I disable all AVG and CuteFTP works fine.
AVG tech support has helped me to configure AVG firewall but this has not solved the problem, it has to be a problem with the core of AVG program.
