This is a very odd response - I don't know if you (AVG Guru) are part of AVG or not, but this is the first question I have EVER posted to any AVG forum. I have not "[carried] out multiple topic postings on the same subject!". So, before responding like this, perhaps you should check your facts!

I have just installed AVG Ultimate. I am running windows 10 and VMWare 12.1.
The AVG firwall is blocking all internet/vpn access from the virtual machines. The only way I can use the virtual machines is to disable the AVG firwall and re-boot the host computer. Is there a fix to this problem?

John, This topic posting 'avg blocks VMWare' was exactly the same as (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000bqs4) which Aravind Gnanamurthy (AVG Technologies) replied to. You may have clicked on 'Post question' twice.
AVG Guru
The tech support was able to remotely configure the firewall to allow VMware to access the internet.
It appears, so far, to be resolved.
