Hello Luke,
We are sorry to know that. Blue screens are caused by hardware problems and issues with low-level software running in the Windows kernel. A blue screen occurs when Windows encounters a “STOP Error.” This critical failure causes Windows to crash and stop working. The only thing Windows can do is stop the computer and restart it. If you wish you can try to restart the computer in safe mode(http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode) and try to uninstall AVG and check if that fix the issue.
Thank you
After installing AVG Antivirus my PC(running perfectly fine until 3 minutes after I installed this) blue screened and started blue screen looping. I called Microsoft and they had me reinstall windows 10. This didn't solve the issue and they recommended I take it into a Microsoft store.
I would love some information on how simply installing this antivirus could cause this.
The windows error is ATTEMPT TO WRITE READONLY MEMORY
Thank you.

Hello Luke,
We understand your concern. Mostly this can happen due to an hardware issue. This could be a coincidence that it occurred exactly after the installation of AVG. We suggest you to contact your computer manufacturer and they will fix this issue for you.
Thank you
I was able to get into the uninstall menu and uninstalled it before it blue screened but this didn't solve the issue. However when I deleted a different antivirus it fixed the problem. I installed AVG as I assumed it was a problem with that antivirus and wouldn't occur again with AVG.
As I said I reinstalled windows, a clean install. The only thing installed on the SSD anymore is windows itself and it still blue screens. Could this be caused by having a different antivirus installed previous to AVG?
Microsoft tech suggested it was a hardware issue somehow in conjunction with AVG.
Thank you.
