Hi good people,
I bought AVG 2 days back. Installation was 100%. However, each and every time I start my system (Windows 10 - a true legal version), I manually have to start AVG, else - it just doesn't start. Then, once I have started it manually, I have to "click" on the update botton for it to be 100% running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning,
Thank you for the above instruction. However, having been in IT for about 33 years, I did take the initiative before your reply to do just that - AVG remove tool, the works. The reboots, the delete, etc. However, I am still faced with the problem. I do not particularly what to mess around with the registry as mentioned by some bloggers on various sites. When I installed the FREE copy a few months back, the AVG initiated automatically on a startup. I successfully uninstalled that version before doing the BOUGHT version update. No luck.
So - I am at your command to resolve this. I may be doing something silly, but I doubt it very much. Let me know if you perhaps want access to my PC remotely. I would have no problem with that with positive ID of the person trying to resolve my problem.
Thank you very much,
Bernard
