Thanks, I did that and it worked. The more important question is how did the browser get on my system without my knowing and how does Avast by-pass administrator setting making the file undeletable unless in safe mode?
Hello Mark.

I'd request you to boot your PC in safe mode and try to uninstall AVG Secure Browser.

Hello,
I can't remove AVG Secure Browser. I tried convectional way of simply using an uninstall button and also tried to use Tuneup shredder. Nothing works! I get messages: "You do not have a sufficient access to uninstall AVG Secure Browser. Please contact your system administrator." I'm the only one who is using my computer so there are no other administrator.
I have spent many hours to find other ways to remove this software from my computer and would appreciate your help solving this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.

We appreciate your efforts, Mark.
We are glad that the issue has been resolved.
When you install the other AVG programs, you might have received a prompt to install the AVG Secure Browser. This option will be checked by default. If you haven't unchecked this option, AVG Secure Browser will get installed.
Sometimes, the program might have a corrupted installation or the file would have been broken. This will affect the services of the program and cause an error during the uninstallation. Hence, we are forced to remove the program through Safe mode.
Thank you for understanding.
