I discovered I had Microsoft updates waiting, which are usually automatic. I have downloaded and installed the updates and that appears to have fixed the problem. The problem appeared at exactly the time I had installed my new AVG security so I thought that was the cause. Many thanks for your help.
Hello Janet,
We are glad to clarify it. AVG Anti-track does not cause this language changes in browsing website.
If you have any VPN installed and turn on, the site language will change depends of the server location set on it. Could you please open AVG Secure VPN and check this status by turning it On/Off?
Keep us updated. Thank you.
I recently purchased an AVG Ultimate Bundle. The bundle includes AVG Antitrack, which I had not had previously. Since then, certain sites come up as Chinese or French language rather than English, which has never happened before. Could Antitrack be causing this problem? Thanks
Thank you for your response. I had already checked this, and I have just rechecked. The location is set to London so should not be causing the problem. Any other ideas?
