AVG Business license status

Usually, licenses purchased from reseller will not be reflected in your AVG My Account.

My company has a 40 computer license of avg business that we purchased from a third party vendor (waytek software) 2 years ago. They recently e-mailed and said we are expiring soon (but I thought it was supposed to last 3 years). I'm not sure if I want to renew through them or directly from AVG, so the first thing I wanted to do was check how much time was left on the current license.

I can't seem to do this. AVG doesn't provide this information through its software, or through the management console. It seems from the info I've found that you can only see the time remaining on the license if it is tied to your AVG online account.

So now I'm trying to tie our license to an online account. I've created the account (the one I'm posting from here) but don't seem to be able to add a product purchased from a third party. I did find this page:

But I don't think it is what I want. In any case it seems to want something other than the product key.

It is a little bewildering to me that it should be this difficult to find out how much time is remaining on our license. That seems like a pretty basic thing to want to know. Any help would be appreciated.
