AVG sends out "campaigns" that open a box on screen. Today's is "Check for potential security improvements". As reported before, X is disabled. The link on this campagn box is inoperable, it reads "Check Now".
Can't anyone at AVG make a correct HTML LINK ???

AVG must put an OPT OUT on these campaign boxes! I resent having to look at this box sitting there alllllllllllllllllllllllllll dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. WHY do customers need to tell a great big company like AVG to PROPERLY CREATE YOUR LINK! AND MAKE AN "X" OPERABLE ON A POP-UP SCREEN!

Any programmer who fails to properly add these items should be FIRED from AVG.
AVG is chasing people away.
I've received these nagging ""Check for potential security improvements. Check now"" commercial popups too on all of our three PC's for the last 10 days or so. I've already disabled all notifications, and it keeps popping up when we watch movies, no way to turn them off.
This ends my 7+ years using AVG, as it's simply a ridiculous way of advertising, bordering to spam. I understand you want people to buy your products, but annoying them with pop-up banners when they're working or relaxing isn't the way forward.
