I did click your link and disabled the (complete) program. I had no more networkmistakes. {All other downloads kept running; when one was finished.} So it might be the stopping of the scan by AVG.
But ! When i disabled the program (also) i noticed a network mistake. {I noticed a few minuts later that a download had stopped due to a networkmistake.} To be sure i have to do it again to check if the networkmistake occurs at the same time while disabling the program. I will do this (again) today or tommorow, (i'm now downloading). After having restarted the computer. [I will keep you posted.] Thanks for your help anyway.
Hi Mohamed,
We are sorry to hear this.
How do you suspect that AVG is causing this issue?
Can you share us the screenshot of the error message?
Are you using the AVG AntiVirus Free version?
During downloading i see at the bottom of my browserpage the progress of downloads; after stopping the downloadspeed the file is checked by AVG. (during the scan/scheck the "filetype indicator" at the bottom of browserpage is encircled). If trying to open the file (during the scan/encirclement) i see message "AVG/scan still in progress". After "encirclement/scan" the file is given free. [That's the moment when message "networkmistake" appears ! (not once butt many times.)]
The networkmistake takes only a part of a second (VUZE,etc. is not hindered by it. It resumes the downloads) However the other browser downloads are stopped; then a message of network failure is under the downloadindicator at the bottom of the browserpage. When opening the downloadpage of the browser; i can click to resume the download(s). However free downloads (often slow say 50 or 300 Kb/s) are mostly/only resumable (if not waiting too long) (only in case of a networkmistake). {Filejoker doesn't resume/because it downloads in intervals.}
Downloading/scanning a torrent (or other small file) doesn't lead to a (short) networkmistake. It are the scans of bigger files that initiate a short networkmistake. It might be the priorityv of the AVGscan.
If downloading 2 (or more) files. AVG scans/checks the first arrived file; then within a second (after scan) i get a network mistake, interupting the other download(s). Sometimes if quick responding i can resume but else i have to redownload from the start. With longer downloads it's a waist of time. Maybe the scan needs a lower priority or whathever. {scanning bigger files takes also a long time.}
