After spending about 5 hours with Microsoft tech support, we determined that it was AVG that was causing an issue and not letting me start the software I use to download my pictures from my camera.
I have a 2 year subscription with AVG and find it a hassle to turn off the "AVG Internet Security" application every time I want to download pictures.
Any advice??
