AVG causing random restarts

AVG Internet Security is causing random restarts on my, AMD Ryzen desktop. I uninstalled AVG for several months and had no random restarts. Reinstalled AVG two days ago and random restarts began again. I have used many anti-virus programs over the last thirty years and prefer the AVG programs/apps. Anybody have similar problems and did you find a solution? Thanks!

Thank you for the information, Lee.
We request you to provide the screenshot of the blue screen you are getting to assist you with better clarity.
Keep us posted.

This is the computer restarting. It always says it is collecting information. It takes about 10 seconds. This restart can happen as often as 3 - 4 times in 1 hour and it is totally random. I could be using Word, Outlook, Edge, ScanSnap etc. and suddenly the computer restarts. When I uninstalled AVG Internet Security I had no more random restarts. So the problem lies with AVG and apparently AVG has no idea how to correct this. Evidently, I will be leaving AVG and going with another Antivirus/Security app/program.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Lee.
It seems that your PC is collecting some error info and the process is still running at 85%.
Request you to be patient and wait till the computer gets restarted on its own.
You can check for the issue after PC restarts.
Thank you.

Windows 10 Pro, Version    10.0.19043 Build 19043. I will try getting a shot of the blue screen info next time it happens.

No, there are no messages the computer just goes to the blue screen saying it is restarting and needs to collect some information.
