I have also started getting this same message the past few days and today an otherwise identical message about avgui.exe trying to access them

Hello,

AVG is providing the following warning message, "chrome.exe is trying to access your login info in Google Chrome." 

This is the first time I am seeing this warning. If I block it, it renders my PC to freeze up. At this time, I am unable to use Google Chrome.

I need to access my emails through Google Chrome.

Please help.

AVG is acting as a layer of protection and informing you about your login details which is being used by Google Chrome. 
This is could be the auto fill option from the browser. 
What happens when you give "Allow App"?

I am worried that you are asking me what happens if I "Allow App." 

Please reply confiriming that the prompt is legitimate.

Once confirmed, I will "Allow App."
