I've trusted AVG Cleaner in the past and never had any issues. Have run their Quick Clean and other programs across several devices—no problems.
Today, however, AVG Cleaner deleted thousands and thousands of my photos. (Believe the app said something like 42GB "recovered" – I should've known something was up.)
Data recovery apps haven't proven fruitful at this point, seemingly recovering the same photos over and over across maybe 10 different services.
Any ideas? Really not thrilled about AVG and their lack of care regarding past cases where the exact same thing has happened, but have a set of fingers crossed.
