I am using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5. When I scan the entire laptop, AVG detects several threats, but it closes unexpectedly before quarantining the threats. It happened three times in a row. I've checked for known software conflicts and didn't find anything obvious. Any thoughts?
Allen,
Sorry to hear that.
I have forwarded this to senior team for further suggestion.
Please keep checking the post to know about the status.
Thank you.

Hi, thanks. I do have version 17.2. I ran the scan again today, and had the same problem: it says threats were detected, then the program shuts down prematurely.
I ran another anti-virus program today as well, and it functioned smoothly and detected and removed a threat. So I'm not sure what is causing AVG to shut down
Hello Allen,
Thank you for the screenshot. Please check if you have the latest version of AVG AntiVirus for Mac installed in your computer. The latest version is v. 17.2.
