I installed AVG secure VPN and AVG Internet Security on my new MBP running Catalina 10.15.7. Soon, my computer started having issues. One app freezes up, then others. Can't restart from the apple menu, have to power off.
After doing a safe boot, resetting NVRAM, checking disks, and reinstalling the OS, apple advised me to delete all the AVG launch helper and launch daemon files.
Things are running well again.
It seems like I am not the only person who has had this problem, according to the google.
What exactly are the compatibility issues? Do you expect that they will be resolved?
Everything seems fine running AVG products on my MBA with Mojave 10.14.6. (This is one of the reasons I hate upgrading to the latest OS.)
