Hi, I have a question. A few days ago, I got a spoof PayPal email. Like an idiot, I clicked on a link (which didn't do anything), I didn't download anything and I forwarded the email. The only reason I clicked on it was because I made a transfer that day, and thought it could be related to that. Anyways, my issue is that AVG isn't detecting anything, which would normally be good. But I have it set up to detect tracking cookies. Every single time I have run my scan (always whole computer) it always picks up a few tracking cookies, regardless of how much time between scans. Well, since I clicked that link, it hasn't found a single tracking cookie. It's weird, until now, I have never had a totally clean scan with no cookies or anything what so ever. This is making me worry that something has compromised my AVG copy. Should I uninstall it and do a fresh install and run it again? If I do uninstall it, will I have to pay to install it again?
I appreciate any help!
Thank you!

Hello Jessica,
You need not require to pay again for the program. We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.
Please click this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
4. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.
Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
