I have Windows 10. I had AVG Ultimate with no problems. I let it expire as price too high and it reverted back the AVG Free a month ago. A week ago, a screen came up from AVG telling me to restart. It then did it about every 10 minutes or so. I asked this site about it and it suggested to "repair" and if that didn't work to "reinstall". I did both and neither had any affect.
I then got a notice to buy AVG Ultimate for a price I can live with so I thought this might stop the problem so installed Ultimate. However, I'm still getting the same, "AVG wants you to restart your computer". It also asks if to restart in "10 minutes, next week, postpone, etc". Its driving me nuts.
