AVG continuing to search for Connection

every time I log on AVG displayes "Network connection changed to IDENTIFYING"
then it displayes "Network connection changed to and it displays my connection"
it does this the entire time I am online.
this is getting so bad, I am thinking of removing AVG completely
how do I get this to stop?

Mark, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I only have one satellite connection. I live in the country and there is no other house within a half mile of me. in my setting under connection, it list only my 1 satellite connection

Hello Mark,
Thank you for the information. We suggest you to change the AVG notification regarding this network change from AVG interface and that should stop this pop-up. Please open the AVG Internet Security and click on "Options->Advanced settings->notification". From here uncheck the notification related to this pop-up and that will stop it completely.
