AVG Corrupted office files (windows 10)

Thank you for your reply,

I ran PC Tuneup and have already reverted the changes but that made no difference. Documents created before I installed AVG seem to still work. But any document saved not to the C: Drive corrupts and are unable to open in office.

I downloaded AVG anti-virus free and subsequently did the lengthy PC tune-up.

Since then I have found that all word and office files become corrupted if you try and save them onto a new device such as a memory stick. If I attempt to email these files to another computer they also become corrupted.

Why has AVG done this and can it be fixed?!

To assist you better, could you please let us know if you have downloaded and run the AVG PC Tuneup as well. If so, there is an option in the PC Tuneup to restore the files that were repaired or removed by it.
