I have screenshot but it just exceeds the 1 Mb limit. How can I get the requested screenshot to you?. Note that the problem is confined to my laptop (email address removed) and my PC is fine.
All panels say I'm protected and are green, but statement in red says computer protection is not on and I am at risk. Why this anomaly and how do I resolve it?

Yes. First action was to click FIX NOW with no result. Then went to Repair with no success. Then uninstalled program and reinstalled and still got the conflicting message. Then used AVG removal tool to remove AVG products and again reinstalled on HP laptop (Jackie Laptop) with no success. Then took screenshot to pass on to you. Is laptop protected or is it vulnerable ?
From previous postings on this forum this problem does not appear to be unique so you must have an explanation and a fix.
