Right click ur Data safe go to properties, then Security tab, click on Advanced, and change owner to ur system name and enable inheritance, apply then ok. Thy logging in again

Am so fed up with these insidious pop ups, especially when we're watching a movie on the 50" TV via the Laptop and right in the middle of some crucial scene in the movie here comes AVG, sitting there glaring at us to buy their products which necessitates me having to get up and go over to the Laptop and close the pop up before we can continue with the movie.
Twice a day I get them.
No more.
Bye bye AVG. You took your eye off the ball and got greedy.
I can only think this must be costing you a fair old wack of wonga.

I was able to find the latest version of the safe's contents on my external disk drive but I cannot open the file with my password. Error message: Data Safe Error. Access Denied. I still have Windows 8.1. I need to get into that file so I don't have to start all over again. Help appreciated.
