Last month I upgraded to AVG Ultimate on 2 PCs/1 droid. My data usage shot up. I am on slow rural internet with an 18 GB monthly limit. I went from using 5GB/mo to 12GB in 2 weeks. I had to shut this computer off completely and uninstall Ultimate on the other computer. How much data does operating Ultimate take per month per PC? Do I have to drop it and go back to regular IS+TuneUp as I had before? Right now I'm at Target using their WiFi.

Please be informed that AVG Ultimate will not take too much of Internet data. The AVG Ultimate download size is 3.2 mb and it will use the Internet data only during the update. Once you use AVG Ultimate continuously it will not use too much of Internet data. I would also request you to contact your Internet Service provider and ask them for the shortage of Internet data.
