Hello Freddy,
The infections detected by the AVG program will be stored under your Virus Vault of your AVG program. If you wish you can either have those files under the Virus vault or remove those files from your PC completely to be more secure. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.
Thank you.
Hello AVG Community,
my AVG Ultimate 2015 detected a virus (name: Trojan: Downloader.Generic...). The trojan virus was in a installation file that I had in my downloads folder for quiet a while that's why I was surprised that AVG found it there.
The virus is in quarantine. How do I proceed from here? Do I have to delete it or empty the quarantine?
Thanks.

How do I remove the infected files from my PC completly?
Do I have to click the 'Delete' button or do I have to empty the vault?
Thanks.
