When I access one of my websites via Chrome or Safari, Web Shield Alert blocks a URL:Mal threat. My question is, what is this and where does it originate? My host has scanned my websites but has not detected any unusual activity. I have run a deep scan of my computer and it has not detected anything.
AVG now alerts me everytime I access my website so I would like to find what is causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

As you've already submitted the false positive request, the concerned team will review & update you the status. Please wait for an email from them.
Meanwhile, please ensure that the AVG program on your computer has the latest patches applied to it. To do so : Open AVG program - Click on refresh icon beside virus definitions (at bottom right corner) - Restart after successful update.

I get the same problem in Safari and Chrome on my macbook.
