Thank you for understanding in advance!

On my Android phone AVG picked up a threat saying that there was Malware in Samsung Core Services. You can't disable or uninstall the app because it looks like it is an important background part of the phone. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10+ on Android Version 12.

The error message reads: "Malware detected - Samsung Core Services contains malware that could harm your device. It is installed in the system partition and cannot be uninstalled. Instead, you must deactivate the app from the system settings. Detection ID: 8186feac32a9"

I can't find the app 'Samsung Core Services' in the Galaxy Store on my phone, but I can find it on the Galaxy Store when I look it up on Google Chrome on my computer. My phone says that it has version 1.5.01.5 installed and on the Galaxy Store it says the version is 2.1.00.36. If I go into the settings and look at the app I can clear the cache or clear the data, but I'm not sure what that will do to the app/my phone.

I was looking online to see if anyone else had the same issue and people in the Avast forum were saying that it was a false positive, but the posts were from January. Can you please let me know what is going on and what I should do?

Thanks!
