AVG did an update, but now it doesn't work right

We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. Due to the arrival of new threats and infections, we have updated our AVG security program with high new security patches and updates to enhance the computer security.

The older version virus definitions were not up to date and you wont be able to have the complete protection without new updates. The new updates will be available only for AVG 2017 versions.

We also suggest you to send your valuable feedback to our developers who are working on it to improve the features of AVG in the link:

AVG automatically updated when I restarted my computer, and now, not only has the format changed, but when I try to click "open" at the internet Security icon, a pop up opens with the following message:
"UI failed to load.  This is really embarrassing.  Your protection is running, but the UI is having a really bad day."
So, basically right now, I cannot access my Anti-virus, or Internet Security to check, change settings, or even to manually update, or anything else.  I hate this new update.  Help!!
