AVG disappeared from toolbar -also won't close after opening

AVG disappeared from the right side of my toolbar. Added it to the toolbar from Programs but it ended up on the Left side of the toolbar.  I don't know how to get it back to the right side.  The other bigger issue is that when I open AVG it will not close so I have 2 AVG icons on the left task bar and the open one does not close when I attempt to end it in the Task Manager or the left click Close Window.
