AVG does not recognise my account

I have full up to date virus protection on my computer  and have been active with AvG for at least 3 years or more
 I also paid for driver update January 2015. This has not been installed

In the process of rectifying the installation of driver update I now find that I cant remember my password.I now have a new password but AVG does not recognise my account.
How do we get around this problem. It has taken me mot of today trying all sorts of things. Theo
