Avg does not work after windows 10 update

Hello, 
AVG fails to load since the update no matter what I do. I can't remove the program to reinstall it, when I try to use the removal tool I saw in other posts I get the same error message.
the massage say:
avguI.exe application error 
the application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005). Click ok to close the application.
Please help this very disapointing and frustrating.

Rebecca, you can install the latest Windows update and check if AVG works fine.

Rebecca, are you trying to open the AVG Internet Security program in safe mode?

If  your trying in safe mode, please try to reboot your PC in normal mode and open the AVG Internet Security application then see if it works fine.

Reinstall AVG Internet Security - Unlimited as mentioned in Step- 2 to check if that fixes the issue.

As of now, we haven't received any compatibility issues with the update of Windows 10. However we will escalate the case to our senior team to know the exact cause of this issue and will  get back to you once we find a solution for this issue.

As was written above I tried all those steps several times while I had the new windows 10 installed (1803), it did not work no matter what I did.
For the time being I prefer to stay with the old version of WINDOWS 10 (1709).

Sure, you can wait for the next Windows update and check if that fix the issue.

Thank you for your assistance.
I've tried to make AVG work in both safe mode and regular.
Unfortunately nothing helped until I uninstalled the latest Windows 10 version.
I repeated the steps and now AVG works.
I believe that the problem was competability to the new update of Windows 10.
