Windows 7 Home Premium - service pack 1 - 64 bit operating system
Ever since the May 16, 2016 update my Free version of AVG doesn't work. I deleted and re-installed and it still does not work, suggestions?

NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

We regret for the inconvenience caused. To resolve the issue, we suggest you to uninstall old 'Microsoft visual C++ 2012 x64 and x86' from your computer's 'Control Panel' list of installed programs and then remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After restarting your computer, you may need to manually uninstall any remaining AVG applications and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. And then Download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable package from  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 .Restart your computer, and then install AVG Antivirus Free by clicking on  http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_Free_692.exe .Thank you.

I can't believe this, I have had AVG for 3-4 years and it worked perfectly, but after the update on May 16, it works no more!!
I did everything above, I have deleted and reloaded and it still does not work! It says its loaded and I press the icon to open and it will not open!!​
