Hello - Im having the same issue as discribed above - the software will not install and every time I try insitalling the program it gives the message AVG Driver Updater "Fobidden (403)."
Any progress on the issue above?

Let's reinstall your AVG Driver Updater and check if that helps. Go to Control Panel -> Programs and features -> Uninstall -> uninstall AVG Driver Updater and restart your device.
After restart, go to the following link: https://www.avg.com/en-us/avg-driver-updater and click on "Free scan" to initiate the installation and then activate it using your license number.
If the issue persists, share the screenshot of that error message you received.
I never could install AVG driver update on this laptop. Therefore I can't remove it…
I tried the Free Scan dowload and got the same error. I've attached the screenshot. the messages are in French but I think they are self-explanatory

Hello,
I'm trying to install AVG driver update on my w10 laptop and it keeps failing. The installation starts and before i can click on "accept", a windows shows up saying "forbidden 403" and stops the process. I've admin right on the laptop and AVG Tune up is running well.
Any ideas?

that's the file I'm using to install the software. I just retried and it's still failling. I added a screenshot from the setup program.
