Have you tried to restart the PC in Safe mode? How do you confirm that AVG Driver updater causing this startup issue?

Sorry for the delay - can attach a screen shot - I suspect that this is a problem with the boot record on my hard disc - any suggestions how to correct this appreciated - Harold

Hi

I have recently run AVG Driver Update on my Windows 10 Laptop - following the completion of this. I am unable to boot my Laptop. I get a message:-
"Inaccessible Boot Device"
So it looks as if the boot Record on the HDD has become corrupted. Can you suggest how I can fix this?
