Since you have mentioned that you are getting the popup like " Requesting windows update". we would request you to cross check recent windows update in control Panel.If its not updated please try to update it through control panel. Once your Windows has updated with latest version, please try to re-initiate AVG Driver updater scan and check whether you are getting the popup again.

Hi,
My AVG Driver Updater keeps getting stuck on 'Requesting Windows Updates'.
I reinstalled it, the updates STILL GET STUCK at 'Requesting Windows Updates' for at least 1/2 hour - then I give up & cancel the scan each time.
Is there a way for me to avoid the Requesting Windows Updates part??
Any help would be much appreciated.
