I purchased AVG Driver updater and it located 17 drivers out of date.
However on each and every one it either says cannot install unspecified error or has the error code 0x80072EFF
Thus rendering the program I purchased useless.
I've tried disabling AVG Antivirus protection but it makes no difference.

This isn't the usual behavior of Driver Updater.
In this regard, if you prefer we can try reinstalling the program to check if it helps.
An email which has the steps to reinstall has been sent to you. Reason being, privacy concerns.
