Recently purchased AVG Driver Updater for Windows for my running Windows 8.1. This software detected over a dozen out of date drivers. However, after restarting my laptop to complete installation of updated drivers, Windows was so completely disabled that it was necessary to resort to the 'refresh' option. Resulting in loss of installed software and apps. Not to mention most of my day spent carrying out various repairs. Has this happened to anyone else?
