Yes i did try that before and again just now.
Driver updater is not listed only protection, web tune up and Pc tune up is listed.

Hi Mikael,

I understand that you want to uninstall AVG Driver Updater from your computer. I request you to open control panel and click on uninstall a program option. A window that shows a list of programs will be shown. Please select AVG Driver Updater from the list of program and click on uninstall option to remove it.

I actually solved it myself now, by simply searcing my computer for AGV files and deleting the folder and everything saying AVG driver updates. (just hope i didnt f… u. any other avg products in the process.)

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
When you install AVG Driver Updater it will only scan for the drivers that are outdated and to update all those drivers you have to purchase the license for it.
Did you try this AVG Remover tool http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ?
If not, please download and run it and check whether AVG Driver Updater is listed for removal.

I installed AVG driver updater to try it. It is no use when you dont buy it just slows down my computer.

Does anybody know how to unintall that par of AVG. I tried the AVG uninstaler (uninstalled everything ecept the driver updater) I also tried in remove programs on windows, and i cannot find it there.

Dear supporters,

Plese read my whole question. I already tried the two things you suggested. I also tried to restart my computer. I did not try to format the harddisk, but am hoping that is not nesecary, and i will be able to remove the driver updater with out duing that.
