My AVG Driver Updater never completes its scan stage and this has been the case for a while now. It makes no difference whether I request the update or it is started automatically. Each time the scan stops at the stage of "requesting windows updates." Signs are present that the scan is still active as the symbol continues to show it is "buffering." I have left AVG Driver Updater on for long periods but always it never moves on from this stage. Is there anything that I can do to obtain progress to "results", "installation" and "done" stages?
The current order was made on 1 June 2016 and expires after a year. I will not be seeking renewal of a service I do not receive.

We are sorry to hear that the AVG Driver Updater scan stuck at "Requesting for Windows update". This issue can happen if the Windows update service is not running in your computer. To fix this issue, we suggest you to open "Services. Msc" and search for "Windows update" service. If the service is stopped, please start or restart the service. And then check if you are able to complete the AVG Driver Updater scan.
