Hi,
I have a problem with AVG email shield blocking Mozilla Thunderbird from sending or receiving emails on gmail and only receiving email with outlook. I have confirmed that the problem is email sheild by disabling it and then successfully sending emails to and from both accounts. I have followed the troubleshooting advice and the port numbers are correct. both accounts are set to imap with port number 993, which is the same as the port number in AVG troubleshooting.
Server settings
gmail:
Server name: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
outlook:
Server name: imap-mail.outlook.com
Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
I am using the full paid version of AVG
