AVG Email Shield for Outlook has stopped working

Could you please confirm whether you are referring  AVG Anti-spam add on for Microsoft outlook program?

Please let us know the version of AVG Anti-virus installed in your PC. If possible, please share us the screnshot of the Anti-virus add-in (http://https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Create-screenshot) which you are referring.

My AVG Email Shield for Outlook is not starting when I start Outlook (2016). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling AVG and doing an installation repair on Outlook, but still no luck. "AntiVirus Add-in" appears in the COM add-ins list and is checked, but nothing appears in the Ribbon.

Can anybody help, please? I think there might have been a recent Win10 update which caused it, but I'm not sure.

I don't think "understanding" has anything to do with it. You have seriously reduced you product appeal for me - now I have to use the clumsy "Junk email" feature of Outlook, whereas it used to be a pleasure to be able to deal with spam so quickly and easily.

Maybe I'll switch to Malware…
