AVG Email Shield prevents all email messages

Since yesterday I have not been able to receive emails with windows live mail if AVG Email Shield is active. If I disable it I can receive emails. Here's the message: Unable to send or receive messages for the Telus (jfear) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
