AVG Enhanced Blocking Sonos

Hi All . I have had the same issue with this one. my fix for this .

Open AVG and click the ‘hacker attacks’ button , and then remote access shield .

There will be a list of blocked access IP attempts. my sonos was on 192.168.1.17 .

I allowed this IP through and hay presto . fixed … :slight_smile: hope this helps

Have been using Sonos and AVG for a number of years quite happily.

Recently the Sonos system is not acceptable on my computer. If I disable the enhanced fire wall it works fine. I have change the network to private. Still no access.

Please can you advise how I solve this

We can try other settings available within AVG Internet Security Firewall.
Open AVG Internet Security program window.
Click on "Menu->Settings->Full Protection->Enhanced Firewall".
Click on check box that says "enable internet connection sharing mode".
Click on "system rules" and enable all categories in it.
Please check the status with Sonos and it should work perfectly with AVG Internet Security Firewall turned on.
Keep us apprised about the status.
