Please try restarting AVG Firewall service, restart your PC and verify the issue.
Follow the steps below to restart the firewall service:
Press Win + R shortcut keys on the keyboard to open the Run dialog. Type services.msc in the Run box and press Enter.
Right click AVG Firewall service and select Properties.
If the service is already running, please click Stop and start it again.
Now restart your PC and verify the AVG firewall component status.
AVG tells me that my Enhanced Firewall Protection is off. When I check this in the Hacker protection set up the slider is green and on. Has anyone got an answer to this problem? have rebooted twice with the same problem showing up.
