I have tried to install AVG for a few days without success. I tried in safe mode with networking, regular mode, used both AVG's reset access & remover tools before the next attempt, downloaded the full version, and tried the multiple ways that were recommended or reported success by users.
Machine is Windows 8.1 64bit.
