So, after updating AVG and rebooting I got this message when I try to open AVG: "UI Failed to load. This is really embarrasing, AV Service is not responding" and clicking in restart service does nothing. Help!

If the issue persists, please uninstall AVG from the control panel and install the new version https://www.avg.com/en-us/download to fix the issue.
