Hello Richard,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. To resolve the issue, we suggest you to remove AVG traces using remover tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After running AVG Remover, you may need to manually uninstall any remaining AVG applications and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. And then install your product by downloading from http://www.avg.com/us-en/download .Thank you.
I had AVG installed when it was Windows 7. It worked fine for a bit when I moved to Windows 10. A few updates latter and it failed. Tried to repair but that failed. Removed it to re-install it but it failed. I have tried this a few times but this time I took screen shoots and keep Avg Remover Log and two AVG Install Log .cab's. Were can I send this info for assistance with this. I am a IT support specialist and do this stuff all the time that is why I am confused with my own computer.
Please help.
