AVG fails to protect me from hackers. I have had terrible problems with security on my computer.
The AVG products i use are :-
1. Antivirus
2. PC Tune up
3. Secure VPN
4. Passwords
a. In the last week i have had my bank tell me that my accounts has been compromised.
b. 2 months ago i found an RAT ( remote access trojan ) virus called backdoor.darkcomet on my computer that must have been the for months giving a hacker access to my computer information.
All that while i have a paid and uptodate account with AVG . What will i now do to protect my computer, my data, and the web pages that i communicate with ? AVG has failed me.

Hello, John.
We'd request you to submit the undetected file to us as per the instructions in this article so we can analyze it and add it to our virus database.
AVG is an unreliable partner. Total, totally let me down. When i needed protection they said "you are covered" But that was misleading and a downright fucking lie.
I use 4 AVG subscriptions, of there products and when the time lapses i will not be renewing my subscriprtions.
Hello John,
Thank you for providing screenshot. Please open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > check the box "scan for potentially unwanted applications (PUAs)" click OK. After that, click on the gear icon next to Scan Computer and select Deep scan. Please let me know if AVG Internet Security is detecting any threats/viruses.
Best regards,
Alok.
Thank you for your interest. The RAT was removed buy AVG after they scan my computer. That was an extra service that I had to pay AVG $150.

I am unclear from your recent post. Please elaborate on the same.
Well, not every AV is perfect. Some things slip through the cracks, which is why it is important that things like this get reported so they can look into it for future protections.
I completely understand the frustration of something slipping past your security, not trying to downplay that at all, however, I think it is a bit harsh to jump straight to ditching AVG. That is your perogative though, but just remember that nothing will be perfect and things can sometimes slip by.
hello Alok, thank you. here is an screen shot .
My antivirus is " AVG Internet security ". always kept up to date and paid up subscriptions.
