I paid for AVG internet security for several years now. My current subscription is not expired until 7/2017.
A few days ago AVG displayed red circle/slash over ALL components - nothing was active. Fix did nothing. I finally had to try to download and re-install my software to restore it.
Now I've ended up with a TRAIL version, with nowhere to enter my previous activation key.
WTH?
I have talked with others that had the same "failure", so it's not just me. Is this a ploy to get people to download the latest product and be forced to buy it, even though time remains on the previous purchase? If so, this is the last time I will use , purchase or recommend AVG products. I am an IT repair and computer repair pro.

There has been no successful re-installation, and no discernable reason for it. Even though I still have 4 months left on my subscription I must write it off as a loss, and move to another provider. There has been a steady increase by AVG in price, and resource using add-ons that have convinced me that this is not the solution for me. Either fix your software or start losing more customers.
