No success, I'm afraid! I uninstalled and reinstalled and activated AVG as you suggested but the problem persists - I can only use Nord VPN with the Fake Web Shield turned off.

AVG has been tackled with this problem before… but gave the previous answer in a private email so I do not know the answer: I have been having problems getting NordVPN to work with AVG. The advice from NordVPN is to disable the Fake Wesite Shield. With this feature disabled the VPN works perfectly. When questioned NordVPN say that this is an issue that AVG would need to fix (not NordVPN's issue). Any help appreciated as I do not want to run without the Fake Website Shield.
I am using the current version of AVG Internet Security 21.8.3202 (build 21.8.6586.695} on Windows 10 on a Surface 4 pro.
