I'm having the same problem as Cliff. AVG Family Safety is interfering with iTunes. I downloaded and ran Autoruns for Windows. Under Winsock Providers there were a dozen or so LSP conflicts listed in my avg directory. . I even tried to uninstall AVG Family Safety, and I could not even do that. It was prompting me for my password, which I entered. It kept telling me "Invalid Credentials." After changing my password in my AVG account, it still doesn't work. I can login to AVG just fine, but I can't uninstall the software. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. Any support you can provide would be much appreciated. I would rather have access to iTunes and not use this software.

Uh… I clicked on the link you provided, Zbynek, and it just takes me back to AVG's homepage for support.
Hello,
After installing AVG Family Safety, iTunes will no longer connect to the store, it gives an error. I have downloaded the InetCtrl67 file recommended in the old forums, but it didn't solve the problem. This is happening on two different computers one running Vista 32-bit, the other running Windows7 32-bit. Both are using Firefox browser (if this matters).
Is there another solution to this or can I just not use iTunes with AVG Family Safety.
Thanks,
Russ
