We regret the inconvenience. If you install AVG Internet Security/ Antivirus, you will have an option to install AVG Secure Browser. By default, this option is enabled and you have to disable it if you don't want AVG Secure Browser.
If AVG Secure Browser is installed as your default browser it will become the default program for PDF/HTML and some other file formats that the browser supports. This is expected behavior. You will be able to edit this at the default app settings in Windows
